Diversity rocks and discrimination is stupid.

But don't take our word for it.  The smart people at McKinsey & Company put out an amazing report in 2018 that found the following:

  • Companies in the top-quartile for gender diversity on executive teams were 21% more likely to outperform on profitability and 27% more likely to have superior value creation.
  • Companies in the top-quartile for ethnic/cultural diversity on executive teams were 33% more likely to have industry-leading profitability.
  •  Overall, companies in the bottom quartile for both gender and ethnic/ cultural diversity were 29% less likely to achieve above-average profitability than were all other companies in our data set.

Jes & Nick say:  "Bottom line.  Diversity is good for the bottom line."     You can quote us on that.

Internships.

It's what we do.

More specifically, Diverse.org was set up as an internship brokering service of sorts.  It works like this:

  • An Entity Partner will donate a pair of Internship Experiences to Diverse.org
  • Diverse.org will post one of the two internships on its internal job posting site to find excellent candidates from diverse backgrounds to staff in the internship on behalf of our donating Entity Partner
  • Diverse.org will auction the second of the two internships on CharityBuzz, to raise capital for ongoing operations

Our goal is to expose these brilliant and diverse candidates to opportunities at companies where they may otherwise not have been considered due to lack of connections or volume of applicants.

Our entity partners benefit from confidently outsourcing a portion of their diversity effort and widening their applicant net as an altruistic method of winning the talent war.
